Continued Training for Chap-men and women!
The industry technology and techniques for heating and air conditioning are constantly changing. It’s important at Chapman that we stay up to date on the latest information. The men and women of Chapman go through continuing education courses more often than you might consider, and we think that’s part of what makes them so great.
Recently two of our technicians attended continuing education in Arkansas for a week each! Tony and Miguel spent a week (separately) refining their skills, making it easier for them to help our customers. Tony said, “The hands on portion was the most beneficial. We diagnosed different ‘bugs’ or problems in which the instructors purposefully put into a variety of systems, simulating real life scenarios. I enjoyed learning tactful procedures that allow me to pinpoint problems quicker and more efficiently, ensuring customers quick return to comfort.” They are both back in Columbia now, spreading their knowledge to the other technicians.
Chapman sometimes brings in different resources to our office so we can all get knowledge right here! In January, Rick Hutcherson came to Chapman for three days. In that time, every person at Chapman was in and out of classes with Rick learning about focus, money management, and of course, professional tips for our industry. Manufacturer representatives also come in to educate the technicians on new technology and techniques. Miguel recently mentioned, “The hands on training and knowledgeable instructors,” was his favorite part of continued education provided by Chapman.
We’re always looking for ways to improve our services for our customers and make sure our old dogs always have some new tricks up their sleeves.
