Fun Fall Drinks!
There’s nothing like a warm beverage on a cool fall day! Around the office we were coming up with different fall beverages that were our personal favorite. Even though it’s only fall we all agreed the hot chocolate was a must! Heidi likes to mix hers up with a little peppermint flavor, and Shana opts for the Mexican hot chocolate that has a little extra cinnamon or spice flavors! While hot chocolate was our hands down winner, we found some other great fall beverages.
Hot Apple Cider
Now obviously this classic had to make the list; who doesn’t love hot apple cider. I usually
make myself a cup of hot apple cider on a cold day because it warms my soul and makes my house smell amazing! There are many variations to this recipe but I thought I would include
mine here. There are just three simple ingredients and this recipe is so easy you’ll want to make it over and over again.
2 c Apple Cider (any brand)
1 slice of orange
1 cinnamon stick
Combine all ingredient in a saucepan and heat over medium low heat until it reaches your desired warmth. Remove the cinnamon stick and pour warm apple cider and orange slice in a mug. Enjoy immediately and often! The cinnamon stick can be reused within the same day, but you won’t want to use it after it’s dried out. (photo courtesy of elanaspantry.com)
Cranberry Orange Holiday Punch
This delicious blend of apples, cranberries, oranges and cinnamon will definitely be a hit for any holiday gathering. The great thing about this drink is it makes enough at once that you won’t have to worry about refilling for a while! Or maybe you will because it will be that popular. Get the full recipe here.
