Chapman Christmas Party 2016
At Chapman, you may have noticed we take Christmas pretty seriously. There are potlucks (yes, multiple), decorating day, daily giveaways, and of course our annual Christmas Party! Chapman’s Christmas Party was last weekend and we celebrated at Les Bourgeois Winery in Rocheport.
The night’s festivities included raffles, dinner, a comedian, and BINGO! Everyone’s favorite part of the evening is usually bingo. Not only are there big prizes to be won, we also raise money for the Rainbow House while we play.
This incredible organization helps provide Christmas gifts to those who might not be able to afford it otherwise. Usually we adopt 2-3 families and do the shopping for their families requested gifts, but this year we’re doing something extra special. The Rainbow House provides a transitional shelter to teens from our community that don’t have anywhere else to go. This year they anticipate having many children between 16-20 years old in their shelter on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
We are so proud to have raise $1200 this year to provide for these local children. While we enjoy the good times of the Christmas party, it’s nice to know that someone else will benefit too!
Our Chapman Christmas Party this year was certainly one for the books. We had so much fun we might just have to do it again next year…
