Easter Crafts

Fun!,

Spring has sprung and just one week later we’re preparing for Easter! The combination celebration always makes me feel a little crafty. If you’re craving an Easter craft that doesn’t involve vinegar and tabs of color then we’ve got something special for you! This Easter why not try something different. Here are three fun crafts you can do with the kiddos, or if you’re like me, just because you feel like being a festive adult.

1. Easy Paper Easter Wreath by The Resourceful Mama

This fun Easter craft utilizes all the things you already have: paper plates, ribbon, and scrap paper! Making an Easter wreath that is not time consuming or dollar consuming is what I am all about. This wreath is totally customizable and you can make it whatever size you want. Helpful Hint: Take it off the door for Easter brunch to use as part of a table setting!

2. Plastic Easter Egg Flower Pots by Made with HAPPY

If you’re like me then you’re anxiously waiting for your garden seeds to DO SOMETHING!! What an excellent visual of the Re-birth to have little sprouts around the house. Give them a special Easter flair by putting them in those plastic eggs we are all going to have lying around come Sunday afternoon. This project is great for repurposing AND decorating. Win win!

Check out how Made with HAPPY turned their plastic eggs into planters here.

3. Sock Bunny by A Pumpkin and A Princess

The first thing I thought of when I saw this Easter craft was, “FINALLY, something to do with those pesky orphan socks!” Stick it to the washer or dryer or whichever eats just one sock with this project! These sock bunnies make great greeters for the front porch, doorstops, or table setting decorations. This is a great task to do outside because all the rice can be a little messy. Enjoying the outdoors and then having something cute to bring indoors – what could be better?!

How to Sock Bunny instructions can be found here.

So there you have it, three great Easter crafts that won’t leave you with an undesirable amount of hardboiled eggs or add to the “grass” you’ll be finding around your house for the next six months!
