Employee Spotlight: Sarah
Much of what we do in the Chapman offices involves customer service. There are four office-Chaps that are here to help you at the drop of a phone call, although it is likely Sarah will be the one you talk to first.
Sarah started at Chapman in 2009 as a summer intern helping out in the installation department. After a few summers of that, Sarah came on full time in 2013, taking on the role of Customer Service Representative. A great aspect of having all those years of summer interning under her belt is that Sarah has a really great grasp on the HVAC world and is very knowledgeable about how a furnace and air conditioner function. This is a benefit because she is often able to offer the support over the phone that helps you avoid a service call.
As a family and local business, we don’t have a call center, we have a Sarah! The customer service position at Chapman involves so much more than being here for you when the phone rings, which is definitely one of her roles. Her daily tasks include organizing and closing out the calls from the previous day, making sure that the appointments for the following day are all confirmed, and processing the invoices as they come in. Through all of that, it is often noted that Sarah’s polite and genuine demeanor are always present. Sarah has a definite ability to multitask and keeps the customer’s needs top of mind.
