Heating Maintenance
Over the last few weeks, there have been a lot of service calls (when we go to fix something) for heating that could have been resolved with regular maintenance. A preventative tune-up on your furnace, boiler, or heat pump, can save you in costly repairs down the road. When we talked to our technicians about some of the reasons they recommend maintaining your system, their overwhelming response was about safety.
Shaun says, “Maintenance will definitely increase the longevity of your system. I often find and improperly adjusted or dirty filter, which can cause premature wear.”
Cole said the most important reason to do regular maintenance is to prevent future breakdowns. Plus there’s the added benefit of having a professional in every six months just to adjust the operation for the best efficiency!
Tony H told us, “From the furnace itself to the winter bitterness of mother nature, it’s important to know that the furnace is operating safely on those cold winter nights.”
