Cardinals Game 2017!
On April 30th, the Chapman team took our annual outing to the Cardinals baseball game in Saint Louis! The Cards were scheduled to take on the Reds, in a much anticipated game. The weather had been a factor in the previous games, so the Cards were eager to get out on the field to continue the series!
We were all nervous about the weather as well! We left Columbia around 9:30 and were met with rain the entire drive to Saint Louis. Luckily there is a lot to do in the area surrounding of Busch Stadium, so we were all prepared to wait out a rain delay! In the time between arriving in Saint Louis and when the game started (on time!) the rain had slowly faded to a light drizzle and suddenly there was no rain at all!
The annual Chapman family outing was perfect and everyone had a great time! Doing events like this really reinforces the family-aspect of our company. We also increase our company values of fun and of teamwork. The few times a year we get together outside the HVAC environment allow us to get to know each other’s families and have a shared experience together.
Hopefully next year we’ll get a little more sun and have just as great of a time!
