Groundhog Day 2017
Well there you have it folks: Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and that means we have six more weeks of winter!
There are different reports from other groundhogs around the country, but it is typically Phil’s opinion that we follow the most (and not just because we have a Phil of our own)!
According to weather.com there are some northern cities that characteristically see up to 7 feet of snow after February 2nd. While mid-Missouri is not on this list, we do know that the unpredictability of our weather is noteworthy.
