Benefits of Late Summer Maintenance

Maintenance,

We’re nearing the end of air conditioner season, and it is around this time we usually get the question, “Well shouldn’t I just wait to tune up my furnace instead?”

It is most important to remember that as long as maintenance is being done annually, it does not necessarily matter what point in the season it gets done. At Chapman, we perform maintenance on air conditioners from mid-March to about mid-September. Through the end of the season, we recommend that you still do the AC check instead of putting it off until the following year. Here’s why:

Early problem identification is a good reason to have your system looked at before the end of the season. If the technician identifies something that needs to be repaired or replaced, you may be able to wait until the following year to get that done. This allows for time to save money, or time to consider the alternative of replacing the system. Knowing what you are getting into for next year can prevent costly surprises later!

Since the end of summer is not our peak season, we generally have much more flexible scheduling. In the middle of June, we are sometimes booking 6 weeks out for those maintenance-type appointments. Towards the end of the season, though, we can often get you in the following week. This allows you to keep track of your schedule better as the kids prepare to go off to school and you’re planning last minute summer fun.

And, for a limited time, you can get the first 60 days of your EZPAY completely free! Then it’s just $15 per month after that. This maintenance agreement ensures that your system will always be running at peak efficiency, no matter when your maintenance gets done.
