It’s Fall y’all! Here are some events happening in the area during the months of October and November to help you get in the spirit of the season!

 

Shyrocks Farm Corn Maze  – Corn mazes are the perfect family activity, visit Shyrocks Farm every Friday and weekend from September 13th– November 3rd.

 

Goat Yoga – Looking for something a little less traditional? Then visit this family owned farm just outside of Columbia for an hour of relaxing yoga with a cute twist! There are multiple dates throughout the Fall months, visit their website to learn more.

 

Rocheport Donut Festival – Doughnuts are the perfect treat, head to historic Rocheport on October 5that 5pm for doughnut tossing contests, hayrides, free live music and of course doughnuts!

 

Mystery Dinner Theater – Take a step back in time to the 60’s and 70’s to solve the mystery of “A Peacelovin’ Crime” – enjoy a 3-course meal and entertainment October 4th, 5th, and the 25that the Stoney Creek Hotel.

 

Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival –  This festival started in 1991 and continues to bring “the celebration of the pumpkin to mid-Missouri”. The festival will feature arts and crafts, music, Halloween decorations, and thousands of pumpkins! Visit the festival with your family October 12thand 13thand enjoy all it has to offer!

 

(Not So) Frightening Friday – Load your little ghouls and goblins up and visit The District in Columbia for a night of Trick or Treating fun on October 27thfrom 4-6pm. This event is free and open to all ages!

 

Race to the Agriculture Park 5K– Run or walk this first ever 5K at the Columbia Agriculture Park, this race is open to all ages and experience levels. After finishing the race, be sure to visit the Columbia Farmers Market! The race begins 8am on Saturday November 2nd.

 

Annual Veterans’ Day Honor 5K – Head on over to Stephens Lake Park on November 9that 10 am to celebrate the military service of Veterans. The Honor walk and Research Run are both sponsored by the Truman VA Medical Research Foundation.

 

With all these family friendly (and some are free!) events happening in our area this Autumn, it’s easy to get out and spend time with your loved ones and enjoy the beautiful weather!
