Types of Heating Systems

Installation, Heat, Installation,

Depending on your space, budget, and what kind of energy savings you are looking for; there are a variety of heating systems that could work for your home. When choosing a new heating system, many people automatically think of a furnace, but this is not the only option available! Chapman installs four different types of systems that are all designed to keep your home comfortable.

A traditional furnace system is the most popular method for heating homes in our area. These types of systems are known for their potential energy efficiency and ease of operation. A furnace is known to be a quieter system that can be located in the basement, attic, or utility closet of your home.

Air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps work essentially the same way, but one pulls heat from the air and the other pulls heat from the ground. These systems are known for being more efficient than other systems. The basic way these units operate is by transferring the hot air to the cold air. These systems are unique because they handle both the heating and the cooling for your home.

A mini-split, or ductless system, is definitely a rising trend in heating sources.  A mini-split system is perfect for areas like sunrooms or additions to your house, they are also great for hot or cold spots in your home. These systems can also be maintained at the same time as your main heating system with our Chapman Family Comfort Club.

Regardless of what type of heating you have now, or what type you want, Chapman offers the same guarantees with all our installations.
