2020 System Giveaway
The Chapman family loves our community, and every year we look forward to giving back to our community. Even though 2020 caused us some challenges, we still were very excited to have the opportunity to give one lucky recipient a complete heating and cooling system with installation.
After marketing this promotion on radio, TV, Facebook, and our website, we had many worthy nominations. We took those nominations to our panel of judges. These judges do not work for us, but they are community members, friends, and family. They then make their preferred selections. We tally the scorecards and ultimately one nomination is selected. We appreciate our judges immensely as we understand how difficult it is to pick the most deserving entry.
This year the winning nomination is very worthy of the selection. The recipients are a couple that had been using space heaters to supplement the heat in their house. Not only had they been without a furnace, but their water heater had also quit working. The wife is an amputee that is currently on dialysis. They have been struggling due to declining health and inability to work. Before the wife’s kidney failure, she was working as a paramedic. Once the wife’s health started to decline, her husband had to take on the role of a full-time caregiver. Previously, he had enjoyed being a librarian. They both miss working in the community.
We are honored to be able to provide a new system AND water heater to ensure that they can enjoy the comforts that so many of us take for granted. In addition, to the installation of a new York system, we were able to partner with Ferguson and AO Smith to provide them with a new water heater. We are sure this will reduce the stress on the family and be very beneficial for their existing health problems. We look forward to them enjoying many years of comfort from their new heating and cooling system and water heater.
