It is no secret here at Chapman Heating, Cooling and Plumbing – We are always striving to find the best most energy efficient products for our customers.  Chapman Heating, Cooling and Plumbing takes that job very serious.  Our employees attend classes, conferences, and webinars for the most up to date information.  They wade through all that ever changing information out there, so you don’t have to keep up on the latest energy trends. Energy Savings Products We Offer

We have compiled a list of energy saving ideas/products we offer our customers:

1. Installing a programmable thermostat.  Installing a programmable thermostat allows you to utilize it for energy savings.  When you adjust your thermostat overnight and when you are away from home, you will see savings in energy AND money.  We even have a couple easy read options for you.
2. Checking your water heater temperature setting.  If you have a water heater tank lowering the temperature, can save energy AND money.  OR want to save even more? You can install a high efficiency tankless water heater, saving you even more energy AND money. 
3. Maintaining your heating and cooling system.  Our Comfort Club is one of the most popular products we offer!  When you maintain your comfort system you keep it running a peak efficiency – saving energy AND money.
4. Installing a low flow shower head.  This can reduce your water bill and require less hot water per shower. Also, is an easy way to save energy AND money.
5. Consulting our Home Performance Department.  One of our best researchers is our Home Performance Department.  They are very knowledgeable and up to date on all things energy savings.  Tony LOVES research and a good webinar.  You can schedule an appointment with him for a comprehensive audit of your whole house.  He can show you where you can save energy AND money.

Bonus Energy Savings Tips!

1. Use the sun to your advantage – Choose window treatments that all you to reduce heat loss and gain. 
2. Switch to ENERGY STAR appliances and electronics. 
3. Utilize electronic power strips for your electronic equipment –  turning off the power strip when not in use.
4. Replace traditional bulbs with energy savings lightbulbs.
